T.R. DOUGLAS

I am a futurist and world traveler. I see the potential for a new world where boundaries and barriers are shattered and our collective connections only exponentially increase. Everything that is achieved is built upon the prior innovations and accomplishments. We are all links in a chain that spans backwards for millenia and forward to the unknown. Our contributions all contribute to something much greater than the sum of all of our individual parts.

I have been blessed to travel the world and been exposed to people and cultures that I was incapable of imagining from my upbringing in a small Ohio town. I longed to learn and experience what the world has to offer and live first-hand the differences of these societies. In the end, my greatest learning is that we are all not that different. We may speak different languages, worship different gods, and support different governments, but at our core, our real core, we are very similar.

My writing is my attempt to encapsulate these common experiences in narrative form to explain some of the connections between people and how they really matter in the larger context of society and culture. I am fascinated how technology creates opportunities for improved human existence and interaction.

We are living in one of the best times our world has ever experienced, while at times it may not seem so, it is a time of rapid advancement across multiple areas that only improve our human condition.
